Holodynamic Bodywork

Holodynamic Bodywork is Glen Weimer's unique synthesis of polarity therapy, somatic trauma work, and subtle osteopathic (manual therapy) techniques, including myofascial release and muscle-energy techniques, structural mobilization, craniosacral and visceral therapy. This work is an Energy- or Consciousness-based therapy, utilizing dialogue and hands-on techniques that engage the Autonomic and Central Nervous Systems to unlock deep-seated traumas, release chronic and acute conditions, and balance the body-mind system. Holistic Bodywork addresses a full range of issues such as physical injuries, muscle pain, structural distortions, physiological challenges, emotional overwhelm, and overall stress reduction.

Polarity therapy is a forerunner in the field of energy medicine, applying the perspective and principles of quantum physics to natural healing. It uses a systems approach to understand the connections between structural and physiological adaptation patterns and physical, mental, and emotional stresses. Through hands-on bodywork techniques and dialogue, we engage the body-mind’s self-healing wisdom to restore balance and health.

Polarity was founded by Dr. Randolph Stone, DO, ND, DC, (1890-1981) from over 60 years of study, travel, and medical practice. Dr. Stone synthesized diverse concepts — modern, ancient, Eastern, and Western to create a comprehensive system of assessing and treating the full range of health conditions.  Polarity Therapy includes Energy- or Consciousness-based bodywork, nutrition, yoga/movement, and body-centered counseling to support whole-person health. (also see: What is Polarity Therapy?)

Manual therapy uses osteopathic manipulative techniques, first developed by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, DO, MD (1823-1917) and expanded upon by subsequent osteopaths, involving gentle hands-on manipulations to promote tissue repair, normalize structure and restore healthy body function. Osteopathy emphasizes a philosophy that includes body, mind, and spirit unity; the reciprocal relationship between structure and function; and the body's capacity for self-regulation, self-healing, and health maintenance. Glen's treatments incorporate this philosophy and many subtle manual therapy techniques including myofascial release, muscle-energy technique, positional release, craniosacral and visceral therapy.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle whole body osteopathic approach that works with the core of our being: structurally, physiologically, emotionally and spiritually.  It influences the central nervous system; brain and spinal column, as well as the fluid it bathes in.  This fluid is called cerebral spinal fluid (CSF).   The human body is 70+% fluid which moves in rhythm with the tidal motion of the CSF.  This fluid motion underpins the shape and movement of every aspect of body's systems; from our musculoskeletal system and the bones of the cranium to each individual organ system.  Glen's sessions combine biomechanical and biodynamic craniosacral approaches. Somatic Therapy

When trauma, overwhelm, or chronic stress lives in the body, tension often persists even after the mind has moved on. You may notice unexplained tightness, a sense of being “on edge,” or the feeling that your nervous system is still stuck in survival mode.

Somatic Therapy helps your nervous system feel safe again. Through gentle, body-centered touch, breath awareness, grounding, and mindful dialogue, this work supports your system in releasing held tension and nervous system charge—not by reliving the past, but by helping your BODY complete what was never fully processed.

Unlike traditional talk therapy alone, somatic approaches recognize that stress and overwhelm are stored in your body's felt-sense experience. When the nervous system remains in protective patterns, it affects everything from emotion and energy levels to physiology and movement. Trauma is just held in your thoughts—it lives as a pent-up charge in your nervous system.

Using trauma-informed, non-relive techniques (including elements of Somatic Experiencing, Holographic Memory Resolution, and other body-centric approaches), sessions help you reclaim parts of yourself, fostering a sense of safety, ease, and presence from the inside out. Whether you feel overwhelmed, frozen, or disconnected from your bodily experience, Somatic Therapy supports deeper regulation, resilience, and a renewed capacity to live with more ease and aliveness.

Tibetan Sound Therapy

Tibetan Sound Therapy surrounds the body in a cocoon of healing vibration using Himalayan 7-metal singing bowls and the cleansing power of Tingshas (cymbals). These tools have been used for centuries to help attain deeper meditative states and bring the body-mind system into a healthy balance.  During sessions clients lie down while Tingshas and Tibetan bowls of various sizes and notes are played on and around the body.

This ancient system entrains our brainwaves and electromagnetic fields to restore a healthy vibratory frequency.  The pure sonic waves generated from Tibetan singing bowls awaken our ability to hear with more than our ears.  You feel the sound as much as we hear it.  It penetrates deeply into our tissue field, vibrating our cells back to health and realigning our system to the Schumann resonance of the Earth.

After sessions, clients may experience improved memory, clarity, vitality and the ability to take action. Many report out-of-body experiences, a deep sense of tranquillity, enhanced ability to meditate, sound sleep and continue to feel the effects of the treatment for several days.

NOTE:  Not offered at this time.

The Geomagnetic Energy Field of the Earth, our bodies and brains all pulse at a low frequency of around 0-30Hz.

PEMF Therapy

All Bodywork sessions may incorporate the use of Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy with amethyst infrared healing.  In 2017, Glen began incorporating the use of a PEMF full-body mat at the beginning of bodywork sessions to magnify the amount of energy moving through the system, increasing its capacity to heal.  He may also incorporate localized PEMF applicators to direct therapeutic square-wave energy to specific sites of pain.

What is PEMF Therapy?  You can think of PEMF therapy as a “whole-body battery recharger”.

Working with Schumann Resonances (Earth-based and brain-state frequencies), PEMF therapy recharges your 100-trillion cells, improving ATP production, increasing oxygenation, enhancing circulation, promoting hydration, facilitating detoxification, and gaining a better overall absorption of nutrients. It’s like putting little tiny "jumper cables” on all your cells and “jump-starting” them back to health.

PEMF Therapy re-energizes damaged cells by inducing electrical changes within the cell that restore it to its normal healthy state. PEMF Therapy can reduce pain and improve the quality of your life by allowing your body to function as it was designed to.

More than 10,000 scientific papers have been published about the health benefits of PEMF with more than 2,000 double-blind studies. Many of the initial studies were carried out in Russia and Eastern Europe, but more and more research is now taking place in the United States.  PEMF is a non-contact, non-invasive, non-pharmacological, and effective treatment for many conditions.  (see my blog post, Discover PEMF Therapy)
